  • Health savings accounts, or HSA's, were created by Congress to combat rising medical costs by providing an incentive for more consumers to pay "first-dollar" medical expenses.  An HSA, like an Archer Medical Savings Account (MSA), is an IRA-like account that is designed exclusively for covering medical expenses incurred by the HSA account beneficiary (the person who establishes the account) and his or her dependents.  However, there are some differences.

  • *Six electronic withdrawals allowed in a calendar month or statement cycle of at least four weeks.

  • Effective January 1, 2012, bonds can only be purchased on line at www.treasurydirect.gov Cashing in of bonds can be done at both of our offices.  If you want to research the value or if you have questions regarding bonds, you can call us or log on to the Treasury Direct website.
